Dear Thomas...
This day began with the tears and overwhelming sadness of the day we all lost you thirteen years ago...a moment in time that still deeply disturbs and haunts me. I always think of our time together, not only when we were kids and but also as we grew older, and throughout this past week, you have been coming to me in my dreams, which I love. I think you are letting me know that you are part of the recent changes that Tom and I are making in our lives and that makes me happy.
You will always be with me, a part of my heart forever. I will continue to reflect upon the portion of our lives we were able to share together, and I am so grateful for that time. I am remembering you with love, not only today, but always, in the quiet moments of my life, in the happiest of times, and in the times of trial. You are with me in my memories, and despite losing you, I am so very happy that you are with God in the beautiful and very special place He has prepared for you and that you are there with Mom and Dad.
