Dear Thomas...
Today is the 9th anniversay of losing you. I still feel as though it was yesterday when we received the news. Now, the sadness of losing you is magnified by the loss of our Mom on March 15th, 2020, the anniversary of your birthday.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and remember all the things we went through together, our many conversations, and so many things we enjoyed together. Dad, Tom and I are still trying to deal with the tremendous and very unexpected loss of Mom. With the loss of Mom, the only thing that gives me comfort is the fact that I know you were there to greet her and help her. It gives me peace and happiness to know that you and she are together in heaven.
I know I will see you both again. I pray that you both know how much you are loved and missed and thought of each and every day. I don't think Mom really understands how much I wlll miss her, each and every day, as much as I have missed you, Thomas, each and every day, since you were taken from this life.
I will say again that I know I will see you both again and that, "Jesus, I trust in You."
All My Love,
Your Sister, Karen
