Dear Thomas...

You are always in my heart.  The loss of you is never away from me.  After twelve years, I am trying to find a way to replace the loss of you with new memories of hope and new memories of joy associated with this particular day.  I don't know whether I will be successful, but so much is changing in my life right at the moment and, somehow, I feel that you are with me in making the change to joy...I hope I am right.

March will always remain your month in my heart... but I want the joy of our relationship instead of the sadness of the loss of you.  I really think you can understand that desire.  I pray that the joy of what God has prepared for you is more than you ever could have imagined.  My heart continues to ache, but that is more about me than what you are experiencing, and I am so happy for you.  I pray that you are with Mom and Dad and that all of you remember me as I do remember you.

You will forever remain my special brother that no one can replace.  I love you with all my heart, Thomas.
