Joseph Zavatsky of Ocala, FL and formerly of Wallington on Dec 17, 2016, he was 95. Born in Wallington, NJ he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Fil Zavatcky. Joseph was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration, Wallington, NJ. He was the husband of Adeline Zavatsky who predeceased him in May 2009. Joseph served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII, and earned 7 Bronze Stars. He had been a member of the Saddle Brook, NJ VFW Post. When Joseph was younger, he enjoyed building model planes and cars. He retired from Public Service Electricity and Gas Company of Hackensack, NJ. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Ruth and her husband Karl Sarnowski of Ocala, FL and his grandchildren Kevin Sarnowski of Ocala and Kerry Sarnowski of NJ. Visiting Tues, Jan 3rd, 4-8 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated, 10am, Wed, Jan 4th, at The Church of the Transfiguration, 135 Hathaway St, Wallington.
