Emily Szewczyk a lifelong resident of Wallington entered eternal rest on on Sept 18th, she was 94. Emily was born in Passaic on May 8th, 1922, to Piotr and Anna (Nemiec) Dziga. On Oct 17th, 1947 Emily married Stanley J. Szewczyk at Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. She was a parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, the Rosary Confraternity and the Pavlic-Koster VFW Post 2640 Ladies Auxiliary. Emily is survived by her devoted children Theodore Szewczyk of Wallington and Debbie and her husband Frank Genty of Lanoka Harbor, NJ and her dear brother Walter Dziga She was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley on Nov 6th, 1989 and her dear siblings John Dziga, Joseph Dziga, Rose Reininger and Helen Zapotosky. Visiting 6 - 8 pm, Wed Sept 21st, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 am, Thurs at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Avenue Wallington. Emily will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Michael's Cemetery, S. Hackensack.
