Edward "Bud" Evers of Moonachie, on March 27th, he was 91. Bud was born in Clifton on Oct 11th, 1924, to Joseph and Clarissa (Zomerdyk) Evers. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Bud was an alarm technician for many years before retiring in 1990. In 1997 he began working as the Property Maintenance Officer for the Borough of Moonachie, retiring in Oct of 2015. Bud had been a Past Commander of the VFW Moonachie Memorial Post 8424 for over 10 years and Past President of the Moonachie Seniors Assn for over 15 years. Bud is survived by his beloved wife Audrey Teunisen whom he married on Aug 25th, 1984; his loving children, Thomas Edward Evers, Carol Jean Ellis, Edward Stephen Evers, William Robert Evers and Audrey’s children Michele Elliott and Steven Mandala. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, Carl, Graham, Taylor, Jessica, Benjamin, Rachel, Stephen, Connor, Douglas and Steven; and six great-grandchildren. Bud was predeceased by his son, John Robert Evers, his grand-daughter Elizabeth Evers his sister Kay Tansely and brother Jack Evers. Visiting 12:00 pm 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ.
