Josephine  Cyran (Wojasuk)
Josephine Cyran of Lodi, New Jersey, on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, she was 92. Josephine was born in Passaic on February 4th, 1924, to John and Frances (Kolodziej) Wojasuk. She was raised in Wallington and graduated from Lodi High School in 1940. On February 2nd, 1946 Josephine married Stanley Cyran at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington, they were married for 59 years at the time of Stanley's death in 2005. During WWII Josephine worked at Western Electric and following the war she became a home maker and a stay at home mom. In later years she worked for National Community Bank in Maywood as a Supervisor, retiring in the mid 1970's. Josephine was very active in the Wallington Community belonging to AARP #4115, the Wallington Seniors and a life-long parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. In the past Josephine enjoyed traveling. More recently she focused on her enjoyment of cooking, knitting and staying active with her friends and family. Josephine was predeceased by her infant daughter Joyce and her son Robert. She is survived by her devoted and loving daughters Carleen Cyran and Carol and her husband Lawrence McBride. Visiting 2:00 pm 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm 9:00 pm, Monday, March 28th, 2016 Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 29th, 2016 at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue Wallington, New Jersey. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Contributions in Josephine's name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 are greatly appreciated.
