Zofia Kania

Zofia of East Rutherford, died on June 18th, 2012; she was 75. Zofia was born in Poland, on Feb. 19th, 1937 to Adam and Karolina (Bednarz) Gusciora. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1972, and worked as a seamstress in Passaic. Zofia moved to East Rutherford in 1980, and is survived by her husband Tadeusz Kania. She is also survived her beloved children Boguslaw Kania, Jerzy Kania, Regina Mazurkiewicz and Zofia Hicks. She is survived by her 8 cherished grandchildren; her loving sisters’ Anna Lapczynska and Stanislawa Kwolek and brother Tadeusz Gusciora.
