Winfred, a former Wallington resident, passed away at his home in Ewing, NJ on December 10th, he was 71. He was born in Scheindorf, Hungary on April 28th, 1941 to John and Maria (Holzli) Siber. He came to the United States in the mid 1950’s, and married Gertrud (Tom) on May 1, 1965 at Holy Trinity Church in Passaic. The family lived in Clifton until 1972, moving to Wallington. Winfred worked as a machinist for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics in Wayne, retiring to Ewing, NJ in 2004. In addition to gardening, woodworking, reading and being an all-around handyman, he was an active member of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Wallington, where he also been a member of the MSH Share and Care Program. Winfred is survived by his beloved wife Gertrud of 47 years. He is the devoted father of Monica (Cerone), Lisa (Buraks) and Jessica (Gurdak) and the loving grandfather of Anthony, Megan, Olivia, Sasha, Alyssa and Morgan.
