Wanda Maziarski

Maziarski, Wanda (Kwak) - Peacefully at home on November 7th, 2012 at the age of 97 years. Wanda was born in Passaic, NJ to Peter and Michaelina (Tracz) Kwak on Oct. 26th, 1915. She was raised in Garfield, and a lifelong resident. She married Thaddeus Maziarski on Oct. 31, 1943 at Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. Thaddeus predeceased Wanda in 1983. Wanda worked for over thirty years at Holy Name Church in Garfield, where she was a parishioner, and a former member of the Holy Name, Holy Rosary Society. Wanda is survived by her daughter Christine and her husband Peter Alesso of Pleasanton, CA. She is also survived by her beloved sister Estelle Kwak of Garfield. Visiting will be Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM, Monday, at Church of the Most Holy Name, 99 Marsellus Place, Garfield, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
