Walter Dobrowolski of North Caldwell, for over 45 years, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018, he was 88. Walter was born in on November 1st, 1929, in Chorostkow, Poland to Karol and Zofia (Peterlewicz) Dobrowolski. On January 6th, 1956, he was married to Jadwiga Szewczyk, in Poland. The family lived in Rudno, Poland, until they emigrated to the United States in 1960. For over thirty years Walter worked for Swepco Tube Corp in Clifton, as a Supervisor and production Inspector. He was extremely proud when the President of the company personally awarded him a certificate of thanks and requested him to take a supervisory position within the company. Walter enjoyed working with his hands, creating, making, and building things. He enjoyed crafts, farming, gardening, swimming and going to spend time at the shore. He was a true outdoors-man. His favorite holiday was Christmas, because it allowed him to work with his hands and to decorate his property. He was predeceased by his wife Jadwiga on October 28th, 2017, which broke his heart. He is survived by his loving children, Christine Dobrowolski, Edward and his wife Paulina Dobrowolski, and his daughter Mary and her husband Wieslaw Zarusinski. He is also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Jessica Dobrowolski, Alex Zarusinski and David Zarusinski. Walter was predeceased by his beloved son Danny in 2016, his brother Jan in 1945, sisters Stasia Kotlinski in 1982 and Franciszka Myslicka in 2011.
