Walter Cupta

Walter P., a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on Nov 11th, he was 86. He was born on April 7th, 1926 to Andrew and Felixa (Jankovska) Cupta in Garfield, NJ. During WWII, Walter proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Curtiss. On Sept 9th, 1949 he married Ann Tomcho, and the couple was married for 63 years. For forty years, Walter was self-employed as an Industrial Caterer, retiring in 1992. In addition to being an avid fisherman, he was a member of the American Legion and the USS Curtiss Club. Walter is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his loving children, Sharon (Bruce) Anzalone, Glenn (Terri) Cupta, Eileen (William) Ryan and Maryann Cupta. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank and Joseph. Visiting 7-9 PM Thurs Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave Wallington, NJ.
