Walenty was born in Bukowsko, Poland on February 14, 1938 to Ludwik and Franciszka (Jadwisinczak) Chrzaszcz. Walenty married his best friend and love of his life, Hanna (Tudek) on July 6, 1963, they were married for 57 years. Walenty left Poland in 1958, to start a better life. He worked tirelessly to build a better future working at Brunswick Laundry, then Thumann's Provisions while attending night school to learn English and obtain his High School diploma. He worked at Thumann's for over 40 years until he retired. Walenty’s family and his faith in God were most important to him. He enjoyed gardening, the mountains, an occasional trip to the casino but cherished spending time with his granddaughters the most. He is survived by his beloved wife Hanna. Loving father of Peter Chrzaszcz and his wife Danika Davis and Danuta Dudek and her husband Marek. Cherished grandfather of Alexandra and Lilianna. Dear brother of Wiktoria Lubarski (deceased) and her husband Edward and Ann Kowalski and her husband Zygmunt (deceased). Caring brother in-law and uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace, unconditional love for his family and his extra-large hard-working hands. He was blessed with his faith in God to his dying breath. While our hearts are heavy, we are comforted in knowing that in his final moments he said “We had a good life." "A beautiful one."
