Wladyslaw Lojek of Garfield, New Jersey, died on February 5th, 2014, he was 88. Wladyslaw was born in Krempachy, Poland on February 4, 1926 to Wladyslaw and Maria (Lukas) Lojek. On September 2nd, 1947 Wladyslaw married Maria Tomaszkowicz in Krempachy, Poland. Wladyslaw came to the United States in January of 1963, settling in Garfield, where he has lived ever since. He retired from Swepco Tube Corp, Clifton, NJ in April of 1991, after working there for nearly thirty years. In addition to being a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield, he was also a member of the the "Slovak Catholic Sokol." Wladyslaw is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Maria and his four loving children and their spouses, Maria (Stanislaw) Wiecek, Irene (Robert) Filosa, Joseph (Connie) Lojek and Anna (Robert) Aikens. He is also survived by his six cherished grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Joseph Lojek. Visiting Friday, 4-8 PM Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Ray St, Garfield, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
