Viola Sudol of Fairfield, NJ entered eternal life on April 6th, 2020, she was 100. Viola was born in Passaic, NJ on November 6th, 1919 to George and Clara (Harrison) Zahn. She had lived in Passaic, Wallington and Lodi where she remained for many years. In 2005, she moved to Fairfield. Viola had worked at the Amlooids Toy Factory in Saddle Brook and in the early 1970's began working for Spencer Savings in Lodi, as a custodian, she retired in 1992. She had also been a long time parishioner of Holy Name in Garfield. In addition to word search she enjoyed playing her BINGO, sometimes several times a day. Viola is survived by her beloved daughter Eileen Duess, her granddaughter and her husband Karen and Clay Arnot, great-grandchildren Nicole and Logan. Viola was predeceased by her dear son in law Douglas Duess. Viola is also survived by her dear niece Nora Hicswa, grandnieces Christina and Lisa and grandnephews Robert, James, Brian and Richie. A private funeral service was held by Viola's family before she was laid to rest with her beloved husband William Sudol. Together they are entombed at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson, and may they rest in peace. A public memorial Mass will be celebrated later this year.
