Vincent Piscitelli of Garfield, peacefully entered eternal life on Dec. 15th surrounded by his family, he was 96. Vincent was born in Paterson, NJ on Oct 26th, 1922 to Dominick and Rose Piscitelli. Vincent was raised in Paterson with his sisters Grace and Carmen and his brother Anthony. He proudly served in WWII as a Private in the US Army, South Pacific Theater, as a member of the Signal Headquarters Company, Aircraft Warning Service, Fifth Fighter Command. On Sept. 25th, 1954 he married his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy (nee Woldanski) at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Passaic. Vincent’s professional career included working as a mechanical inspector for Curtiss-Wright, Walter Kidde and IT&T Avionics. Vincent was a dedicated parishioner of Most Holy Name Church in Garfield. He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy, his devoted children Rose and David and his brother Anthony of Paterson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting Wed, Dec 19th, 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Thurs at Most Holy Name, 99 Marsellus Place, Garfield.
