Vincent of Fair Lawn, died on Feb 15th, 2013 he was 95. Vincent was born in Paterson, NJ on May 5, 1917 to John and Angelina (Spagnolo) Lombardo. He was raised and spent much of his life in Paterson, moving to Fair Lawn 35 years ago. Vincent worked for Curtiss-Wright in Wood Ridge, as a laborer, starting in 1938 and retiring in 1978 as a tool Inspector. Vincent proudly served in the US ARMY during WWII. Several years ago he was honored by the Governor of NJ with the WWII European Theatre of Operations, Distinguished Service Medal. Vincent was also a member of the D.A.V. Commanders’ Club. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret and wife Jane Hitchcock Lombardo. Survivors include 2 sons, Robert and Vincent. He is also survived by his niece Jerilyn McBride, a great-niece Tracy McBride Mustachio and her husband Tim, great-nephews Daniel and Michael McBride, great-great-neice Christina Mustachio, great-great-nephew Brendon Mustachio, great-great-great nephews Jake and Cash Michael, his cousin Clara Passaro, and his sister in law Madge Seno and her family. Vincent is also survived by his loyal and dedicated care giver of 20 years, Laura Borkowski-Coles. His devoted home health aide, Bruce Labutti for the last year, Terry Powell his compassionate care giver, and the heartfelt people of Life Choice Hospice. Vincent was predeceased by a brother John S. Lombardo and sister in law Helen Sentkowski Lombardo. Visiting 10AM – 1PM, Wednesday, Feb 20th Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ.
