Vanessa Sanchez

Vanessa Rita Sanchez Marquez, most recently of Hackensack, NJ died on June 8th, 2013, she was 40 years old. Vanessa was born in Colombia on December 20th, 1972 to Jorge and Luisa (Marquez) Sanchez. She came to the United States in 1974 as a toddler first arriving in Queens, New York. Her formative years were spent growing up in and around Garfield, New Jersey. Vanessa graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Lodi, NJ in June of 1990, and then attended a trade school. She had most recently worked in publishing for Marcel Dekker in Manhattan, a job she truly enjoyed. Vanessa enjoyed catching up on her soap operas, a follower of Law and Order; she loved animals especially cats and dogs; and she also enjoyed reading. Visiting will take place at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ on Wednesday June 12th from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at Holy Name Church in Garfield, NJ. Burial will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery in South Hackensack. Vanessa is survived by several half brothers and sisters and the best, most loyal and dedicated friends a person could ever wish to have. May Vanessa's Soul be carried up to heaven, on the wings of the butterflies and May She Rest in Peace.
