Stephen Kempenski a lifelong Wallington resident, entered eternal life on Sunday, April 21st, 2019, he was 71. Stephen was born in Passaic, New Jersey on December 27th, 1947, to Stephen and Julia (Mikula) Kempenski. He was raised in Wallington and a graduate of Wallington High School. In 1969, he proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was married to his beloved wife Gay (Crowley) of 47 years on November 13th, 1971 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton. He retired in 2014, having spent many years selling truck parts, last working for Truck Parts Specialists in Teterboro. Stephen was an avid fisherman and could often be found puttering around in the garden. He and Gay also enjoyed spending time as snow birds, at their home in Champions Gate, Florida. He was also interested in Vietnam War memorabilia and was a member of the V.F.W. Pavlick Koster Post 2640 in Wallington. Stephen is suvived by his beloved wife Gay, his loving children, Vincent and his husband Christopher Kempenski, his son Stephen Kempenski and his three beloved grandchildren, Alanna, Katherine and Aiden. Visiting 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, Thursday, April 25th, and 9 - 10am Friday, April 26th at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington.
