Stephanie Prezant

Stephanie Iris, 22, of Haworth, NJ died on April 29 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY, following a tragic rock climbing accident. She had a glowing personality, a smile that lit up the room and a zest for life. She was known for her enthusiasm, community involvement, curiosity and love of dance and sports. Above all, she loved her family and friends.
She was a senior at the University of Delaware, graduate of Northern Valley Regional High School, Demarest and Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County. Stephanie attended Pinemere Camp for many summers. She was the loving daughter of Elana and Jeffrey Prezant, beloved sister of Jonathan and Jacqueline, adoring granddaughter of Tania and Philip Horn and Louise and Howard Prezant. Contributions can be made in her memory to SSDS of Bergen County, JNF or Camp Pinemere Scholarship fund.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 10 AM, at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades , 411 East Clinton Ave., Tenafly. Shiva will be observed through Sunday evening.
