Stefania Kopec, a life-long resident of Wallington, NJ, died on November 8th, 2013, she was 96.
Stefania was born in Wallington on Sept 13, 1917 to Valenty and Agnes (Cygan) Kwasnik. On Feb 26th, 1938 she married Adam Kopec at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. They were married 35 years until Adam’s death on December 9th, 1973. For many years Stefania worked in a garment factory, only retiring in her seventies. In addition to being a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and a life-long Columbiette, of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Council 3644 and the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Rosary Confraternity. Her hobbies were cooking and baking. Stefania was predeceased by her son Gregory Kopec in January of 2011. She is survived by her beloved sister Jennie Kwasnik, her daughter in law Dolores Kopec, many nieces, great nieces and her great-great-grandnephew Duncan. Stefania was predeceased by her siblings, Anna, Frances, John and Fred. Visiting Tuesday, Nov 12th, 2-4 & 7-9 Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ.
