Regina Ruszkiewicz

Regina M. Ruszkiewicz (nee Janowicz) passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Regina was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on November 10, 1928, to Stanley and Casimira (Romatowski) Janowicz. Regina is survived by her beloved husband, Henry S. Ruszkiewicz, her dear children, Mary Ellen Kerr and husband Roger, Joe Ruszkiewicz and wife Chris, and her cherished grandchildren, Kevin Kerr and wife Cassie, Kaitlin Kerr and husband Rishav, and her dear sister, Rose Sautner. Regina is also survived by her two dear great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Eleanor Baran and her two brothers, Henry and Edward Janowicz, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Ruszkiewicz. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Regina grew up in Passaic, where she met the love of her life, Henry. They were married in 1951 at St. John Kanty's Church in Clifton, New Jersey, and then settled in Wallington, New Jersey. During her younger years, Regina was the Head Majorette of the Passaic High School Marching Band. She was also very active in the church. A Funeral Mass will be held in Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10 am EST. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, 2 Terrace Avenue, Lodi.
