Mitchell Florczynski of Venice, Florida and formerly of Garfield and Clifton, New Jersey, entered eternal life on January 26th, 2018, he was 89. Mitchell was born in Dabrowa, Poland on May 15, 1928 to Jozef and Helena (Szczesniak) Florczynski. He lived in Poland until his immigration to the United States in February of 1977. He first lived in Garfield then moving to Clifton. In May of 1985 Mitchell married the former Josephine Zurawski. Ther were married for over twenty nine years prior to her death in 2014. Twenty-six years ago, following Mitchell's retirement, the couple moved to Venice, Florida. Venice allowed Mitchell to enjoy his passion of gardening and growing Papayas and other fruits and vegetables. He could often be seen riding his bicycle throughout the neighborhood. He also loved to sing. He had been a member of the St. Joseph's Church Choir in Passaic, while he lived in New Jersey. Most recently he had been a parishioner of the Epipany Cathedral and their Choir, in Venice, Florida. Mitchell is survived by his beloved children, son Ryszard Bogdan and his wife Elzbieta Florczynski, daughter Ewa Anna Borowiak, son Kazimierz and his wife Kazimiera Florczynski and his stepson Edward and his wife Eunice Zygadlo. He was the devoted grandfather of Melissa, Arthur, Marta, Paulina, Magdalena, step-grandfather of Brianna and Jackie; and his five great-grandchildren. Mitchell was predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine and his brother Stanislaw. Visiting 5-8 pm, Monday, January 29th, 2018 at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Tuesday, January 30th, at St. Joseph's Church 7 Parker Avenue, Passaic, NJ. Mitchell will be taken to Venice, Florida where family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 8:30am - 10 am, at the Farley Funeral Home 265 S. Nokomis Avenue, Venice, Florida 34285 (941) 488-2291. A funeral service will follow 10:30am at the Epiphany Cathedral. Mitchell will be laid to rest beside his wife at the Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice, Florida.
