Mickey Palach of Hawthorne, entered eternal life on May 14th, he was 57. Mickey was born in
Zakliczyn, Poland on Feb 8th, 1961 to Julian and Maria (Karecki) Palach. He came to the United States with his family in 1966, first living in Paterson, then North Haledon. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force. Mickey married his beloved wife Margaret Lukaszczyk on July 21st, 1984 at Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. The family also lived in Central Jersey and moved from Monroe, NJ to Hawthorne in Aug of 2016. Mickey’s family describes him as an extraordinary man who made lasting impressions on all those he met. He was a man who was brutally honest, helpful to a fault and meticulous in all he did. He was also a loyal and trustworthy friend. Due to health reasons, two years ago, Mickey stopped working at Black Box in Lancaster, PA, where he worked as a network engineer. Mickey truly enjoyed the outdoors; boating, cruising, fishing, golfing, working in his yard, hiking with his wife and listening to music. He has been a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Parish Community in Hawthorne. Mickey is survived by his unconditionally loved family, his beloved wife Margaret, his two cherished children Joseph and his wife Amanda, his daughter Ashley; his dear parents Julian and Maria Palach, his sister Janina, mother-in-law Maria Lukaszczyk, sisters-in-law Jane and Kathy Lukaszczyk and brother in law Zenek Lukaszczyk, as well as nieces and nephews.
