Mary M. Yamroz of Elmwood Park, NJ, died on Oct. 28th, 2011; she was 90. She was born in Passaic, NJ on July 11, 1921 to John and Anna (Mlynarczy) Malinkiewicz. Mary was married to “Freddy” Yamroz who pre-deceased her in 1996. She worked at Shulton’s in Clifton in the quality control department for nearly 25 years. Mary enjoyed, and was very talented at sewing and crocheting. Her family fondly recalls her incredible cooking skills. In addition to being a Parishioner of St. Leo’s in Elmwood Park, Mary was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. At one time, she had been an active member of the Mother’s Club in Elmwood Park. Mary is survived by her son Lawrence Yamroz of Waynesvill, NC; her two daughters Carol Jacobsen of Rockaway, NJ; and Christine Wiedemer of Mechanicsville, VA. She was predeceased by her son James Yamroz; his wife Ina survives. Her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild will miss her dearly.
