Mary Kozel a life-long resident of Wallington, NJ, entered eternal life on, on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, she was 99. Mary was born in Wallington on April 8th, 1919, to Lawrence and Eva (Krawiec) Lacki. When she was a young woman, her mother died leaving her father and four siblings. She courageously stepped into her mother's shoes, and became the caretaker to her younger siblings, all of whom became successful and honorable adults. Mary took great pride in being a homemaker and spouse to her beloved husband Emil for nearly 70 years until his passing in 2011; and mother to her devoted son Wayne. Mary's greatest pride was love of family and her commitment to her Polish heritage. In 2013, Mary was named the Parish Nursing Programs - Woman of Distinction. Mary is survived by her loving and devoted son Wayne Kozel, her sister Lottie Lacki, her brother Frank Lacki and three nephews, Robert E. Aber Esq., Gregory Lacki and David Lacki. Mary was predeceased by her brother Edward Lacki, sister Helen and her husband Edward Aber.
