Mary Evans

Mary Evans, of West Orange and nearly a life-long resident of Paterson, died on May 17th, she was 91. Mary was born in Paterson, NJ on Oct 3rd, 1921 to Nicola and Lucia (Ianiero) Casapulla. Mary graduated from East Side High School. On Aug 25, 1951 Mary married George Evans, her husband of 61 years at St. Anthony's Church in Paterson. For many years she worked as a secretary for the Dept of Public Works in Paterson. Mary is survived by her beloved husband George; her loving sons and their wives, George and Teresa of Carlstadt, NJ and John and Alice of Manhasset, NY. Mary was predeceased by her grandson Stephen in 1990, and is survived by eight cherished grandchildren. She was also predeceased by hers sister Jessie Weiss in Sept of 2012.
