Mary Bednarz

Mary of Wallington, NJ entered into eternal rest on Jan 23rd, she was 100. Mary was born in Stany, Poland, on Oct. 18th, 1912 to Kasper and Antonina (Chrustowska) Sudol. She married Stanislaw Bednarz on July 5, 1933. The family came to the United States in 1963, settling in the Wallington-Passaic area. Mary worked for many years as a sewing machine operator, in Passaic and was a devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary Church. She was pre-deceased by her husband Stanislaw, her dear son Jan Bednarz and her dear daughter Zofia Olszowski. Mary is survived by her loving children Krystyna Bednarz, Stasia Noga and Walter Bednarz, all of Wallington, and Anthony Bednarz of Clifton. Mary was the cherished grandmother of 15; and the cherished great-grandmother of 24. A funeral mass was held on Friday, Jan 25th, at Holy Rosary Church in Passaic, followed by burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack. The family has requested that Masses be offered for Mary, and appreciate those who have already made those offerings.
