Marion Zavatsky

Marion Zavatsky, R.N., of Wallington, NJ, on June 15th, 2011; she was 93. Born in Passaic, and a life long resident of Wallington, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Derzsak) Zavatsky; and sister of the late Edward A. Zavatsky. Marion was a graduate of Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing, and a graduate of Seton Hall University. Marion was an instructor at Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing before going to work at Bergen Pines County Hospital, retiring in 1979, after 17 years.
She was a Parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Slovak National Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, NJ. She was a member of the Nurses Alumni of Hackensack Hospital, American Nurses Association, and American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by her Godchild Kristine Safatinos and a cousin Kenneth Derzsak. Visiting, Sunday, June 19th, 2-6 PM at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service; 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ.
