Maria Rog of Wallington died on January 19th, 2014, she was 78. Maria was born on December 8th, 1935 to Jan and Agnieszka (Kwasnik) Cham in Brzostowa, Gora, Poland. On October 30th, 1973 Maria came to the United States. After her arrival, she worked at various textile factories as a seamstress, last working for Safari Sportswear in Passaic. She then worked in Health Care in Clifton. In addition to being a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, she was also a member of the Polish Rosary Confraternity, and a member of the Polish National Alliance, (PNA Lodge 2571). Maria is survived by her loving son Henry Rog, her devoted daughter in law Beata, her cherished granddaughter Anna Rog. Maria is also survived by her sister Teresa and husband Ted Kutarba of Clifton and her sister in law Stanislawa Cham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting 4-8 PM on Tuesday, January 21st at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 22nd at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, followed by interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
