Maria Kata

Maria Kata, 79 of Cedar Grove and fomerly of Passaic, died on May 27th, 2011. Maria was born in Mazarnia, Poland. After emigrating to the United States, she worked as a seamstress in Passaic, NJ. She married Jan Kata, on Feb. 6, 1955, he predeceased her on March 16, 1996. Maria is survived by her beloved children, George and his wife Susan Kata of Sparta, NJ, and Teresa and her husband Wayne Zatorski of Cedar Grove, NJ. She is survived by 5 cherished grandchildren, and her sister Geniwefa Chumura of Poland. She was predeceased by her five brothers and sisters. Mass of the Resurrection, 10 AM Tuesday, May 31st, St. Stanislaus Kostka, Ray Street, Garfield. Visiting Monday, May 30th, 4-8 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., Wallington, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.
