Margaret Ann Groovenhoff, of Wallington, and formerly of Yonkers and Irvington, NY, entered eternal life on October 15th, 2021, she was 56. Margaret was born in Manhattan, NY on July 31st, 1965 to Joan Fox. She first lived in the Bronx, moving to Yonkers, NY as a young child. She was the beloved mother of Jullia Pignataro. Margaret was a selfless person, she was a natural care taker, caring for her family members as they became aged and infirm. For many years, Margaret was instrumental in caring for her niece Jade and her nephew Jabari. She had also provided customer service at some of the diners in both Yonkers, Riverdale, the Bronx, and lastly at The Bendix Diner in Hasbrouck Heights. She had also worked as a chauffeur driving limousines, always providing prompt and impeccable customer service. Margaret had moved to Wallington, after the passing of her mother Joan in 2019. When the pandemic broke out and restaurants ended indoor seating, Margaret again took on the roll of care taker for her sister Deb and her husband Brian, cooking, cleaning and making sure they ate while they worked around the clock serving families of the pandemic. Margaret's smile and gentle laugh could put anyone at ease, and make you a fast friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Margaret is survived by her devoted and beloved daughter Jullia and her fiancee Drew Carey, her loving siblings, sister Deb and her husband Brian Warner, her sister Tina and her husband Kevin Hazy, her brother John and his wife Cheryl Kennedy. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews Patricia Maynor, Alexis and Alicia Hazy, Jabari and Jade Kennedy, Alexys, Barbara and Robert Warner, and her grandniece Italia Maynor.
