Lidia Soja

Lidia Soja of Wallington died on June 9th, 2013, she was 58. Lidia was born in Rzeszow, Poland on May 1, 1955 to Franciszek and Genowefa Kuna. She came to the United States and settled in Wallington in 1986. Lidia was a well known waitress at Tommy's Diner in Wallington. For a number of years she has been working as a live in care giver for the elderly. Prior to her arrival in the USA Lidia had a flower shop in Poland, and gardening was still her favorite hobby. Lidia is survived by her beloved daughter Izabela Hettel of West Milford, NJ and her loving mother Genowefa Kuna of Wallington. She is also survived by her devoted Candy, a rescued greyhound; she will also be missed by her many relatives in Poland. Visiting will be Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 14th, 2013 at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, New Jersey 07057.
