Leszek Wadas of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, entered eternal life, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019, he was 83. Leszek was born in Lubcza, Poland on November 11th, 1936, to Frank and Pelagia (Siemek) Wadas. He married his beloved wife of 60 years, Stasia (Wojcik) Wadas, on October 14th, 1960 in Poland. Leszek loved the outdoors and nature, and prior to emigrating to the United States he worked as a farmer. Upon his arrival on May 18th, 1965, he began working for Hewitt Robbins in Passaic, and retired from Hayward Pumps in Elizabeth. Leszek was a devoted parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield since 1973. In addition to his love for the outdoors, he could often be found hiking and chopping wood, as well as the occasional cruise. He is survived by his beloved wife Stasia, his 3 loving children, Renata Haila, Frank Wadas and Mary James and her husband John James. He is also survived by his 8 devoted grandchildren Nicholas, Jonathan, Gabriel, Emily, Quinn, Paige, Hunter, Cooper, his great-granddaughter Taylor, and his dear sister Zuzanna Laszcz. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 am, Saturday, November 23rd, 2019, St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 184 Ray Street Garfield, New Jersey 07026.
