Krzysztof Jankowski of Garfield, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 18th, 2018, he was 63. Krzysztof was born in Lomza, Poland on December 22nd, 1954, to Zdzislaw and Marianna (Alinska) Jankowski. He came to the United States in 1979, first living in Passaic, then moving to Garfield over 25 years ago. Krzysztof was married to his devoted wife Jawiga Jankowski on July 11th, 1981, they were married over 37 years. Krzysztof was a contract painter by trade, last working for Fromkin Brothers Inc, Edison, NJ. He also got great joy in helping his community by applying his trade and skills. Krzysztof was a Parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Passaic; enjoyed reading, fishing, bird watching and was known to be a "bird whisperer." He was a philosophical man and enjoyed discussing philosophy with friends. Krzysztof is survived by his beloved wife Jadwiga, his devoted sons Charles and his wife Ana, and Mark Jankowski. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Katelyn and Matthew, and was the dear brother of Robert and his wife Ewa, and his sister Barbara. Visiting Friday, March 23rd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am, Saturday, March 24th, at Holy Rosary Church, 6 Wall St, Passaic. Committal services will be private.
