Kazimierz Laszcz of Garfield, peacefully entered eternal life on July 1st, he was 78. Kazimierz was born in Chwalowice, Poland on March 4th, 1939. Kazimierz came to the US in 1965. On Nov 19th, 1966 he married his beloved wife Zuzanna (Wadas) of over 50 years. After arriving in the US he had lived in Passaic, until settling in Garfield in 1969. In 2011, he retired from the Fair Lawn Board of Education where he worked in maintenance for over 25 years. Kazimierz was a "Jack of all Trades" who loved to tinker on cars, grew amazing vegetables and could fix anything. He would also drop what he was doing to help his family or close friends in need. Kazimierz is survived by his beloved wife Zuzanna and his devoted children and their spouses, Ursula (Ronald) Pirog and Thomas (Agata) Laszcz; his cherished grandchildren Veronica, Julia, Victoria and Olivia. He is also survived by his dear sister Helen Pawlowicz, his cherished cousin Bola Thompson, his cousins Wesley, Ludwika, Maggie, brother in law and wife Leszek (Stasia) Wadas, as well as many other relatives, close and dear friends. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Thurs, July 6, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Fri, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 184 Ray St, Garfield. Kazimierz will be laid to rest at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
