Kazimierz Herdzik of Clifton, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 13th, 2019, he was 82. Kazimierz was born in Pysznica, Poland on April 1st, 1937, to Jozef and Aniela (Bak) Herdzik. He was married to his beloved wife Jozefa (Surowaniec) on April 24th, 1962 in Poland, they were married for over 57 years. He came to the United States in 1971. He worked as a Class A baker for the Stolarz Bakery on 8th Street in Passaic. When the Stolarz family closed the business he continued to work for friends around the area, and then when Tomi Bakery opened in the Stolarz location, he went back to work, not wanting to retire. Kazimierz was quick with a joke, he enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the Meadowlands race track, watching the horses. He also loved the outdoors and sunshine; gardening, planting his tomatoes and walking his dog Soprano. Above all, the most important part of his life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Jozefa, his devoted daughter Vanessa Herdzik, his loving granddaughter Nina Herdzik and her husband Pawel Dworakowski, and his cherished great-granddaughter Julia Josephine Dworakowski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Kazimierz was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Saturday, June 15th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington.
