Karolina Motyka of Wallington, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019, she was 96. Karolina was born in Brzostowa Gora on October 3rd, 1922, to Marek and Maria (Wargacka) Stempien. Karolina was married to Franciszek Motyka in Poland, who predeceased her on June 30th, 2009. She came to the United States in December of 1975 and settled in Wallington. She had worked at the Dexter Knitting Mills until her retirement in 1985. Karolina was well known for her pierogies; she was a devout Catholic and an avid reader. She was also a devoted parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington. Karolina was dedicated to her family, and enjoyed caring for her great grandchildren while their parents worked. She is survived by her three devoted children, her daughter Joanna and her husband Edward Bednarz, her son Boleslaw and his wife Krystyna Motyka and her son Jan and his wife Wanda Motyka. Karolina is also survived by her dear sister Janina Wika of Poland; her 7 Grandchildren, her 13 Great Grandchildren and her 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Visiting 5 - 9 pm, Friday, June 28th, at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am, Saturday, June 29th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue Wallington.
