Julia Hopphan of Wayne, NJ and formerly of Garfield; died peacefully on October 2nd, 2011. Julia was born in Wallington, NJ on July 11, 1911 to Alex and Patricia (Kulik) Torbin. Julia was the beloved wife of Charles Hopphan, who predeceased her in 1974. Julia’s family fondly recalls her excellent cooking skills, and most of all her potato dumplings. Julia is survived by her beloved daughters’ Dorothy Simon and Louise Post; her devoted son-in-law, Bill Post; three cherished grandsons; William Post Jr., Robert Post and William Simon; two great grandchildren Billy III and Amanda Louise. She was predeceased by her grandson, Charles “Chucky” Post. Julia is survived by two nieces, Madeline Seno and Judy McManus.
