John Sloma, a lifelong resident of Passaic, died on Nov 1st, he was 58. John was born in Korchowiska, Poland on March 24th, 1957 to Wojciek and Anna (Szot) Sloma. He came to the USA in 1967 and settled with his family in Passaic. He attended Holy Rosary Grammar School and was a graduate of Passaic H.S. Class of 1975. John worked at Oakonite Cable in Paterson until his retirement in 2007. He was also a union member of the United Rubber, Cork Linoleum and Plastic Workers of America, Local No. 495. John was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his son Joshua, his sisters Sophie Cisowski, Mary Sloma and brothers Stanley, Tadeusz, Joseph, Louie and William Sloma. He is also survived by six nieces and seven nephews. Visiting Tues 6-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington.
