John Bardzik Jr., of East Rutherford, New Jersey, entered eternal life on November 24th, 2022, he was 96. John was born in Wallington, NJ on September 27th, 1926, to John Sr. and Helen (Kruse) Bardzik. John was raised in East Rutherford, NJ where he lived his entire adult life. He graduated East Rutherford High School in 1944. John served in the United States Army Air Force from 1945 to 1946. His primary duty was to serve as a military policeman in the Panama Canal Zone towards the end of World War II. After his military service, John attended the University of Missouri obtaining a Bachler’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1953. After graduation, he spent his career working for several chemical companies including DuPont, Celanese Corp., Arsynco Inc., and Phillip A. Hunt Chemical Corp.. As a Senior Chemical Engineer and Project Manager, he traveled extensively for some of these companies that included international travel to Japan, Singapore and Morocco for extended periods of time. John was a parishioner of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, Wallington, NJ. He is survived by his loving cousins, James Krucher of Clifton, James Kruse of Bluffton, South Carolina, Barbara Wrighter of Hancock, New York, and a large group of his very loyal East Rutherford neighbors. John is predeceased by his parents, his brother, Edward Bardzik, his sister, Elanor Lucchese, and his two nephews, Lee and Glenn Lucchese. Visiting 6 – 8 pm, Wednesday, November 30, 2022. John will be laid to rest at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 225 Main Ave., Clifton, NJ 07014.
