Joan Maskal of Saddle Brook, entered eternal life Dec. 15th, 2017 she was 85. Joan was born in Wallington on Sept 11th, 1932 to Ludwig and Victoria (Kaziek) Kacak. She married her beloved husband Donald Maskal on Nov. 21st, 1953. They were married for over 50 years at the time of his death in 2004. Joan was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed being a caregiver to her cherished grandchildren, Donald, Kara, Gordon and Courtney, and great granddaughter Skye Phoenix. She also enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City casinos. Joan was an active parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church in Passaic. She had been a member of the church's Adoration Society and the Leisure Club. Joan also enjoyed the company of her pets, cats and dogs throughout her life. Joan is survived by her three beloved children, son Donald and his wife Vanessa Maskal, and daughters Linda Glenfield and Dianne Maclean. Joan was predeceased by her son in law George Glenfield and six siblings. Visiting Mon, Dec 18th, 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Tues, Dec 19th, at Sts. Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, River Drive, Passaic.
