Jean B. Zagleski of Wallington, died on January 25th, 2015, she was 98. Jean was born in Garfield, NJ to Vincent and Rose (Skurka) Sobta. She was raised and lived in Garfield until she married Walter J. Zagleski at St. Joseph's Church in Passaic on Oct 13th, 1940. The couple moved to Passaic where they lived from 1940 until the mid 1980's, then coming to Wallington. During her life, Jean had worked for Curtiss-Wright during WWII and sold War Bonds. She had also worked in Passaic General Hospital in the dietary department. However the most important job to Jean was being a homemaker, where she was a proud wife and mother and cared for her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter and is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Alice, her son-in-law Salvatore R Catania, and her cherished grandson, Salvatore W. Catania, Jr. Jean was also predeceased by her two sisters Adeline Lyster and Lottie Corizzi. Visiting Thursday, Feb 19th, 2015, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ 07057. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Friday, February 20th, at St. Joseph's Church, 7 Parker St, Passaic. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
