Jan Szczech

Jan Szczech entered eternal life on June 7th, 2020, he was 75. Jan Szczech was born to Katarzyna and Jozef Szczech on July 10, 1944 in Krzatka, Poland. He married Helena Szczech and had two children, Renata Bednarz and Andrzej Szczech. He has four grandchildren, Ilona, Michelle, Kamila, and Christopher. Jan and Helena lived in Bojanow, Poland, and came to New Jersey in 1989. His son, Andrzej, and daughter-in-law, Beata, followed and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998, which made visiting much easier. Jan made sure to visit Poland frequently to see his daughter, Renata, and son-in-law, Wieslaw, and grandchildren. He enjoyed politics, history, and watching his favorite soccer teams win. He relaxed by playing card games with his friends. Also, he enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with his grandchildren whenever possible. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, and will always be remembered and loved.


A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13th at 2PM at Holy Rosary Church, Wall Street, Passaic.
