Ireneusz Tuminski

Ireneusz "Irek" Tuminski of Lodi and formerly of Wallington, E Rutherford and Garfield, died on Feb 5th, he was 61. Irek was born in Poland on May 8, 1953 to Edward and Teresa (Gruzewska) Tuminski. He had lived in Mazury, Poland, prior to coming the the US. In Poland he was an avid defensive soccer player, playing in different leagues. His enthusiasm for soccer has remained unchanged, throughout the years. He also enjoyed sailing and reading. Irek had been the manager for the Wisla Club in Garfield. Irek is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, his four children Adriana, Natalia, Michael and Michelle. He is also survived by his mother Teresa, his brothers Leszek, Janusz and Marek, four grandchildren, his Aunt Irene, his mother in law Leokadia Bielicki, many cousins and friends. Visiting Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 am, Wed, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
