Irene B. Tlusty, 92 of Wallington, died peacefully on Wed, Oct. 19th. Irene was born in Passaic on March 11th, 1924, cherished daughter of George and Sophie (Sudol) Tlusty. She resided in Wallington, most of her life. She retired in 1991 as a graphic illustrator from Loral, Inc. in Yonkers, NY, working on government contracts for many years. Irene was always proud of helping her Country’s efforts. Irene always strived to better herself academically, receiving her A.A.S. in 1960, her B.A. in 1963 and her Masters Degree in Engineering in 1966, all from Fairleigh Dickenson University. Irene was a very religious person, a parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington, and very proud of her first Friday observance. She was a very kind and generous person, supporting many interests and charities. She will be sorely missed by all. Irene is survived by her brother Chester and her sister Sylvia Tencza. She was predeceased by her sisters, Jean, and Sr. Theresa Marie O.P. (Sophie). Irene was predeceased by her parents, her brother Emil and sister in law Carol (Kopec). She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Patricia Zoll, Kathleen Borecki, Deborah Geske, Carol Beier, Melanie Yannuzzi, Emil C. Tlusty and Daniel Martinek, and her great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visiting 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Sunday, Oct 23rd, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Mon, Oct, 24th at 10:00 AM at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington.
