Irene Bordych

Irene J. Bordych of Lodi, died on May 16th, she was 93. Irene was born in Poland on March 3rd, 1920 to Peter and Regina (Bielawska) Antoszewski. She came to the United States in Sept of 1960, first living with family in Clifton. The family moved to Garfield and then to Lodi 29 years ago. Irene had worked for over thirty years as a clothing inspector in Passaic, for the Sylvio & Son Clothing Co., retiring in 1980. In addition to her joy of singing and entertaining Irene enjoyed to dress-up and travel. She had been a longtime member of ARIA - a Polish musical choir. Irene was predeceased by her husband Frank on Jan 22nd, 1991. She is survived by her loving daughters, Maria Kiesling of Lodi and Elizabeth Wojt of Colorado. She is survived by her four beloved grandchildren and her seven cherished great-grandchildren. Visiting today 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral mass will be held 10:15am Sat, May 18th, Holy Rosary Church, Wall Street, Passaic. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
