Helen Soltys

Helen Soltys of Garfield died on July 6th, she was 93. Helen was born in Poland on Feb 13, 1920 to Juzef and Agnieszka Gryglak. Helen and her family came to the United States in 1965, settling in NJ in the late 1960’s. She is survived by her five loving children and their spouses, Margaret and Joseph Krzysik, Blazej and Francis Soltys, Pauline and Christopher Kaminski, Frank and Deborah Soltys, Bernadette and Henry Marchinowski. She is also survived by her 12 devoted grandchildren and 10 cherished great-grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Blazej Soltys in 1978. Helen was a parishioner of St. Stan’s in Garfield and the President of the Polish Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 10AM tomorrow, 184 Ray St, Garfield. Visiting today, 5-9 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ.
