Helen Lokes

Helen Lokes, a lifelong Wallington resident, died on May 11th, she was 85. Helen was born in Wallington on July 12, 1928 to John and Mary (Fakas) Lokes. After attending Nursing School, she graduated in 1949 as a Registered Nurse. She retired in 1993 having worked in Fairlawn, NJ for Medical Internists Assoc, PA for over 31 years. Helen is survived by her loving Godson Ronald Furmanek and his devoted wife Michele; her cousins Jerry Kern and his wife Donna, John and his wife Monte Novak; and her extended family, Chester and his wife Susan Furmanek, Robert Furmanek. Visiting will take place on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, New Jersey. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM, Friday, May 16, 2014, at St. Michael’s Cathedral, 96 First St, Passaic. Following the funeral mass, Helen will be buried with her parents at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, New Jersey.
