Helen P. (nee Buczek) of Wallington entered eternal life on October 15th, she was 97. Helen was born in Passaic, NJ on March 18th, 1921 to Michael and Mary (Stachulski) Buczek; and was raised in Passaic. She lived in Passaic until she graduated from Passaic High School in 1938 and then moved to Wallington. This is where she met and married her loving late husband Albert. They were married on Feb 8th, 1941, and enjoyed 49 years of togetherness at the time of his passing in 1990. Helen had worked at Becton Dickinson for over 35 years in production control, retiring in 1981.The Flejzor's were active parishioners of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, where Helen had been a past president of the Rosary Confraternity and a Charter Member of the MSH of Jesus Columbiettes Chapter #3644. Helen was an active member of the Wallington Seniors and AARP Chapter #4115. She was also an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the B&D Retirement Club and the B&D Alumni Assoc. Helen is survived by her devoted son Allen and his wife Bernadine. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughter Lauren. She was predeceased by her beloved son Robert in 2017, sisters Sophie Kraska and Anne Kogan and and her brother Eugene Buczek. Visiting 4-6 pm, Wednesday, October 17th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Thursday at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington. Helen will be laid to rest at St. Nicholas Mausoleum, Lodi.
